Who is responsible
This site is run by Total Digital Services ("we", "us"), which decides how the personal data described here is used. Questions and requests about your data: use the contact form at https://totaldigitalservices.com/contact/ and start your message with "Privacy request". The form is our only contact channel.
What we collect and why
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, work email, and optionally company, website, budget range; the service you chose and your message | You send the contact form | To reply and prepare a scope you asked for |
| How you found us: campaign tags (utm_*), ad click IDs, the first page you opened and the referring domain | Stored with your request only; kept in your browser tab until it closes, no cookie | To know which channels bring real requests |
| A one-way, salted hash of your IP address | You send the contact form | To limit abuse and spam; the IP itself is not stored with the request |
| Anonymous counts: day, event name, page pattern, service, button position, error reason | You view pages or use the form | To see where the site works and where it breaks. No cookie, no IP, no identifier |
| Server access logs with the IP address shortened and cookies removed | Every request | Security and troubleshooting; rotated automatically |
We do not sell or share personal data for advertising, and we do not buy contact lists. Requests marked as spam are kept only to tune the spam filter.
Tools and processors
- DigitalOcean hosts the site and its database on a server in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the site.
- Google Analytics 4 measures visits. Advertising storage and personalisation are off, Google signals are off, and pages are reported as paths without query strings, except campaign tags.
Measurement tools load when you open a page. Press Reject in the cookie notice, or use cookie preferences, and they stop and do not load again for 12 months. Details are in the cookie notice.
How long we keep it
Requests that do not lead to a project are deleted after 12 months. If we work together, the records needed for the project and for accounting are kept as long as the law requires. Anonymous counts contain no personal data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information, and you can make the same requests described here. We reply within 30 days.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and are not directed at children.
